Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who has a unique style. Baker was born 22 April 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family with English Scottish and German descent. His parents, who were both missionaries, took him to many trips during his early years. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed, while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker was moved to Denver with his dad and stayed for a time. Baker was bullied by other youngsters because of his poor status. In sixth grade, Baker began listening to rap. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22nd, 1989 in Texas. The rapper is most well-known for his hip hop infused with rock and his modern alternative. Baker has released four mixtapes from 2007 to the year 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland rapper became a star after he made the transition to self-releasing mixtapes to working for reputed record labels. Over the next few years, each album of his came in at #10 on the chart.
