Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist who currently is a competitor within the UFC flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports started with her debut as a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 followed by an award of bronze in 2008 and then a with gold in 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia has started her career as a professional at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were also held in 2016 and she won the 2016 IFMA Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina's most recent fight took place against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko started career-long MMA career in 2002 after a win over Anara Baanova, during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning in the second round TKO. The following two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer as she took a prolonged time off of MMA. She came back in 2017, when she fought Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko was victorious against Anissa Haddaoui by a unanimous decision. She was then able to defeat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. In 2018, she resigned from the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the final clinch. Antonina accepted an UFC deal following her win. Antonina Shychenko debuted for the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision following her first fight. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night in this fight. Shevchenko won her first three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
