Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef, television host in America and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature spikey blonde locks and pump up personality, provides easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell was a student and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He has also competed in Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. The Culinary Institute of America is where she went following her graduation with an English diploma and Communications certificate at Canisius College Buffalo NY. She says "I enjoyed being a Culinary Institute of America student. I was awed by every moment." I couldn't learn enough couldn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. After graduating Chef Burrell was in Italy for a year, studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Additionally, she worked at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin star restaurant) in Tuscany. Her time spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture and this has left an impression on her culinary perspective. Burrell participates on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of children who are struggling. She also is a Juvenile diabetes Research Foundation's Celebrity Advocate, where she raises awareness about young diabetics. She speaks about her cooking passion and shares her knowledge of the culinary world, as she regularly goes on trips across the USA in various roles such as speaker and mentor. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate in that she could be able to share her passion for cooking with other people.
